JOJO HAS MAD LOVE FOR HER 'CELLULITE, CURVES, AND CONFIDENCE'

JoJo's comeback is finally here. On Friday (October 14), she's dropping her first record — Mad Love — in a decade. It's an appropriate title, because she's all about the self-love in her new personal essay forMotto.

"I will never have a thigh gap," she wrote. "Nobody has ever worried the wind might 'wooooosh' a little bit too hard and knock me down. At 25, I’m a brick house adorned with battle scars and cellulite, curves and confidence. Some days I have abs, sometimes mehhh… I don’t know where they go. And you know what? It’s all good."

But her confidence wasn't always this strong. After the success of "Leave (Get Out)" in 2004, she felt like a pawn in Hollywood's harsh "comparison game." She worried she wasn't "skinny, pretty, feminine" enough for the industry.

"I felt like a product," she explained. "I was told that I didn’t look good enough to sell the music I was making. Other female artists were brought up and my image was compared to theirs. The president of my former label sat me down and told me that losing weight was 'about my health.' But we both knew it wasn’t."

So she dabbled with dangerous weight loss methods like injecting herself with hormones and hoping to develop an eating disorder. Thankfully, now she's done with all that and ready to move on with her career the way she sees fit.

LITTLE MIX BASK IN THEIR GLORY DAYS WITH NEW ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT

Little Mix are taking a page from Britney Spears’s glorious comeback with their upcoming fourth album. Less than a year after dropping Get Weird, the British girl group have announced their next full-length effort, Glory Days.

Along with revealing the album’s pink-tinted artwork, they’ve also shared the cover for its deluxe edition, which comes with the full Get Weird tour DVD.

Little Mix’s exciting album announcement comes just days after the group offered a sneak peek at lead single “Shout Out to My Ex,” which they’ll debut live on X Factor this Sunday (October 16). They’ve continued to hype it up on Instagram by sharing lyrics like, “Took four long years to call it quits / Forget that boy, I’m over it” and “I’m all the way up / I swear you’ll never bring me down.” (Hmm ... Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik’s relationships ... coincidence?!

Glory Days is available to pre-order starting tomorrow (October 14) and releases worldwide on November 18. That’s almost three whole months before the girls join Ariana Grande on her Dangerous Womantour, so that should give you plenty of time to learn all the words, Mixers!

JUSTIN BIEBER CASUALLY CRASHED THIS SCHOOL’S SOCCER PRACTICE

The 22-year-old is in London this week to headline four nights at the O2 Arena as part of his Purpose World Tour. In between shows, he showed up at Highgate School in North London for an impromptu soccer (sorry, football) practice with unsuspecting students, who gleefully posed with the pop star.

Soccer coach Mario Noto told The Sun, “Justin and his manager... had been driving past and seen our lesson going on. They explained Justin was in town for his shows at the O2, that he enjoys his football, and would love to join in. He asked me to go in goal for a few penalties — and turned out to be pretty good!”

UGK and OutKast’s “Int’l Players Anthem” to Be Released on Texas-Shaped Vinyl

On November 25, UGK’s collaboration withOutKast, “Int'l Players Anthem (I Choose You),” (from 2007’s Underground Kingz) will be released on a special Texas-shaped vinyl via Get On Down. It is among the label’s Record Store Day releases, which also include a 2xLP reissue of Jungle Brothers’ Done by the Forces of Nature, and a vinyl reissue of the third volume of James Brown’s Funky People series. The upcoming “Int'l Players Anthem (I Choose You)” vinyl includes the original song, as well as an instrumental version. Get On Down’s new releases can be purchased only in-store on Black Friday. Find a list of participating record storeshere. The label has become known for their special packaging. Earlier this year, they reissued Cypress Hill’s self-titled debut as a skull sculpture.

Jay Electronica Joins Emeli Sandé on New Song “Garden”.

On November 11, Emeli Sandé will release her second album Long Live the Angels (via Capitol Records). Today, she has shared the record’s “Garden,” which features Jay Electronica and Áine zion much. Listen to it, and see the rest of the tracklist, as well as the cover artwork, below.

In a statement, Sandé said of the track:

“Garden” is one of my favorite songs from the album. It is an expression of freedom and passion, two important parts of life, which I hadn’t really explored until a few years ago. BACKSTREET BOYS DON'T WANT DONALD TRUMP ANYWHERE NEAR 'I WANT IT THAT WAY

While campaigning in the Sunshine State — which also happens to be the homestate of BSB — Trump blasted "I Want It That Way," the single off 1999's Millennium (and a TRL fave, back in the day) multiple times over the course of his rally in Ocala, Florida. The only thing is that BSB had no idea Trump was working their hit into his events, and they're not down with this. At all.

The Daily Beast reports that a BSB rep confirmed that they didn't approve the use of the song for Trump's rally, and that they "are not associated with the Trump camp."

BSB aren't the first act to want off the Donald's playlist: Adele, Neil Young, and a number of other performers have spoken out against the candidate's use of their music during his run for the presidency, so consider Backstreet in good company

Zayn Disclose The Only Topic He Couldn’t Sing About In One Direction

The One Direction expat published a paragraph from his forthcoming memoir Zayn on NME Thursday (October 13). In it, he writes about how “Pillow talk” was a turning point for him creatively — because he finally got to sing about sex.
“Every lyric I’ve ever written has a story behind it,” Zayn wrote. “All the hard work that went into the creation of ‘Pillow talk’ was worthwhile because, as soon as it was finished, I intuitively felt I was on the right path. It was a sick cut, nailing the exact sound I wanted to capture in my music. I was also able to sing about a subject that I hadn’t really been able to go near while I was in One Direction: sex.”
It sounds like growing a beard wasn’t the only point of contention between Zayn and his former band. He also wanted to write songs about doin’ it — and 1D’s image was just too wholesome for that sort of thing.
